Government grants for startups, nonprofits and small businesses come in three forms: federal, state, and local. Although Federal grants typically offer the most money, they usually have the most competition. This workshop will provide you with a strategy to help you decipher the best approach to applying for funding. You will receive information, resources and the tools needed to help you understand the essentials of government funding, grant readiness and the best approach to securing grant funds for your business.

Who Should Attend? 1. People with limited to no experience in funder research and grant proposal writing. or 2. Anyone who needs a refresher course in the basics of government grant writing. This may include but not limited to: founders, small business owners, executive directors, board and staff members working in nonprofit organizations.
